Spook in the realm of shadows was the fifth children's series from the "Spook" series by Günther Meyer and thus the continuation of Spuk aus der Gruft . For the first time, the script was not co-written by CU Wiesner, but by Hans-Georg Struck .
action
In the glass coffin of the crypt, Balthasar, the shepherd's real murderer, has now had to take the place of his brother Friedrich. So Friedrich Freiherr von Kuhlbanz finally found his peace in the shadow realm. However, Maja is still looking for a way to meet him and clinging to her love for Friedrich. Apparently, however, Balthasar wants to take advantage of her longing to quench his thirst for revenge on von Kuhlbanz. A sacrifice and black magic come in handy with his diabolical plan.

The second part of this haunted series is again about the legend of " Knight Kahlbutz ". Much of this mini-series was filmed in a disused limestone mine. The series was continued in the series Spuk am Tor der Zeit .
