Srđan Vukadinović

Srđan Vukadinović ( Cyrillic Срђан Вукадиновић ; born May 29, 1956 in Titograd (now Podgorica ), Yugoslavia ) is a Montenegrin art sociologist and theater scholar .

Life

After attending a grammar school in Titograd, Vukadinović completed five university courses: cultural management at the Drama Faculty of the University of Belgrade , political science at the University of Sarajevo , conservation / restoration at the cultural science faculty of the University of Montenegro in Cetinje , as well as art education and Marxist philosophy at the pedagogical faculty of the University of Montenegro at the Nikšić site . He also graduated from the journalism school of the Yugoslav Institute of Journalism ( Jugoslovenski institut za novinarstvo ) in Belgrade and completed a postgraduate course in cultural history at the Interuniversity Center in Dubrovnik . He obtained a master's degree in political science from the University of Belgrade in 1993 and received his doctorate there in 1997 in sociology with a thesis on Stratifikacija crnogorskog društva i kvalitet života krajem 80-ih godina XX vijeka (The social stratification of the Montenegrin society and the quality of life in the late 1980s ). In 2009 a second doctorate in theater studies took place at the Faculty of Performing Arts of the University of the Arts Belgrade , with a thesis on Savremeno nacionalno pozorište u drugoj polovini XX vijeka (The contemporary national theater in the second half of the 20th century).

From 1987 to 1989 he was the director of the Festival jugoslovenskog animiranog filma (Festival of Yugoslav Animated Films) in Titograd and from 1988 to 1991 director of the Festival jugoslovenskog alternativnog teatra (Festival of Yugoslav Alternative Theater), also in Titograd. From 1991 to 1992 he was director of the Montenegrin National Theater in Titograd for a year .

In 1993/94 he lived in Istanbul and was a research assistant at the Boğaziçi Üniversitesi . He then worked as a lecturer at the University of Montenegro in Nikšić, and from 1997 as an assistant professor of sociology.

He teaches as a full professor at the Drama Academy of the University of Tuzla .
