description
The Romanesque church from the 12th century was heavily modified in the 13th century. It consists of a nave and a rectangular choir . The triumphal arch that connects the two rests on two pillars with capitals . The Gothic choir is higher than the nave and is reinforced by buttresses . On the gable roof sits an octagonal roof skylights .
What is remarkable about the church is the Romanesque portal on the north side, which is now walled up. In the tympanum is St. George sitting on a horse and shown with a lance. Before him stands a bishop with other clerics . The archivolt rests on two set columns with small capitals. The relief arch is provided with a sawtooth frieze .
