Church of St Mammès in Dannemois

The parish church of St-Mammès in Dannemois , a French commune in the Essonne department in the Île-de-France region , was originally built between the 11th and 13th centuries. The church dedicated to Saint Mamas on Rue des Francs-Tireurs was added to the list of architectural monuments in France in 1926 as Monument historique .

The vaulted nave is from the 11th century . The Gothic choir from the 13th / 14th centuries Century is only preserved as a ruin. It was destroyed in a landslide in 1900.

The rectangular bell tower with Roman twin windows is of a pitched roof covered.

Furnishing

From the equipment is only the baptismal font from the 14/15. Century worth mentioning.
