The Catholic Church St-Martin in Volonne , a French commune in the department of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence in the region Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur , built in the 11th century. The church, which is adjoined by a cemetery, has been protected as a monument ( Monument historique ) since 1971 .

The west facade is supported by three buttresses and has two oculi and a twin window , which is capitalized by a column with palmettes . On the roof of a sitting ridge turret with bell . Most of the masonry is made of quarry stone , it is provided with many scaffolding holes.

The church in the form of a basilica lost its wooden ceiling in a fire. The side aisles are separated from the nave by columns with simple square capitals. The apse , higher than the nave, is separated by a double triumphal arch and covered by a semi- dome . It is illuminated by a simple central window.
