description

The St. Ouen consecrated church belonged long time to Bec Abbey . During the renovation work around 1900, many Romanesque components were renewed. In the choir with a straight end there are parts from the 12th century. In the interior of the central nave , the lower wall section is divided by coupled , round-arched blind arcades. On the outside, a window with a flat zigzag bar and a scroll frieze arch above it has been preserved.

The tower, which rises in the south between the choir and nave , consists of three floors. It is crowned by a high, wooden roof structure . The lower storey is loosened up by narrow twin columns that accompany the buttresses . The small window is framed by zigzag bars. The windowless first floor is adorned with a cross-arched frieze resting on sheet capitals . On the top floor, pillars are set in the corners. On each side there are two triple-stepped pointed arch windows, the middle of which is supported by a zigzag rod. The archivolt is framed by a scroll frieze. The roof cornice rests on two rows of brackets .
