history

The chapel outside the village, which stands on granite underground, is consecrated to the Holy Trinity . According to a document from the Cluny monastery , the chapel was built in the 11th century next to a spring that still exists today.

architecture

The chapel has been changed several times over the centuries. The floor plan , a uniform trapezoid , was created when it was founded. The reveal of the west portal and the sloping windows that illuminate the hall and the choir were built in the 15th or 16th century. The openings on the four sides of the tower also date from this period . Inside the hall is spanned by an open roof structure and the rectangular apse has a groin vault . The chapel was also used as a burial place, as evidenced by three grave slabs in the floor.
