St. Antonius is a Catholic parish church in Benteler in East Westphalia , a district of Langenberg in North Rhine-Westphalia , Germany . The community is organized in a parish community in the Beckum deanery of the Münster diocese .
history
The church was built in 1856/59 as a hall church with a west tower made of bricks. In 1912/14 it was extended in the neo-Gothic style to include the transept , southeast tower, choir and sacristy . The pulpit, the high altar and the side altars come from the Wiedenbrück school . The church's old clockwork was removed and exhibited in front of the church.
