St. Anthony of Padua

St. Antonius von Padua is a monument in Pfändhausen , a district of the Lower Franconian community Dittelbrunn in the district of Schweinfurt . The former Roman Catholic branch church is, together with the cemetery cross, registered under number D-6-78-123-33 in the Bavarian list of monuments .

history

The church, built in 1770 in the Rococo style, is only used as a morgue. It served as the village church of Pfändhausen, which originally belonged to the parish of Rannungen . The church was replaced in 1967 by the Church of the Holy Cross , built between 1965 and 1966 .

description

The church today consists only of the nave with a curved gable in the west and the eastern choir . Originally there was also a church tower, which has since been removed. The altars are from the construction period.
