St. Apollonia (Düttling)

The chapel

The St. Apollonia chapel is located in Düttling , a district of the town of Heimbach in the Düren district , North Rhine-Westphalia , right next to the federal highway 265 .

In 1798 the first chapel was built in the small Eifel town, dedicated to St. Donatus was consecrated. Due to dilapidation, this sacred building had to be demolished in 1916. The current chapel was not built until 1935. Patron saint is St. Apollonia , which is implored for special protection against toothache.
