St. Felicitas (Roggden)
The Catholic branch church of St. Felicitas in Roggden , a district of the town of Wertingen in the Swabian district of Dillingen an der Donau , was built from 1837. The building is a protected monument .
description
The church consecrated to St. Felicitas was built by Leonhard Christa from 1837. The north-facing, flat-roofed hall has a drawn-in choir closed on three sides . The square west tower is closed by a pyramid spire over the gable . The frescoes are from 1934.
The furnishings by Johann Buchenberger are from 1939. In the high altar is a carved group with Saint Felicitas and her sons by August Schmidt . A candlestick angel is dated around 1500.
