St. Germanus (Niederzissen)
The Catholic parish church of St. Germanus in Niederzissen , a local parish in the Ahrweiler district in Rhineland-Palatinate , is a listed church building.
The original church was built in the middle of the 12th century, of which the lower floors of the tower have been preserved. A new building was built after 1225. This is a three-aisled basilica with three bays and ridge vaults . The choir has a five-sided conclusion. The tower is slightly drawn in. From 1966 to 1968 the building was expanded to include a heptagonal, tent-shaped extension. The church is dedicated to St. Consecrated to Germanus of Auxerre .
