The Catholic parish church of St. Hubertus is a listed church building in Heddinghausen , a village and also a district of Marsberg in the Hochsauerlandkreis , North Rhine-Westphalia .

History and architecture

The community is a foundation of Obermarsberg . The church is first mentioned as a parish church in 1250. The building from 1847 is a rectangular hall church with a recessed 5/8 choir . A formerly arched entrance in the north wall was bricked up. The longitudinal walls are divided by four arched windows each. The west tower has been preserved from the previous building from 1250, it is Romanesque and has a baroque hood. The parish church is the patronage church and burial place of the von Canstein family .

Furnishing

  • Randebrock organ, which was completely restored in 1998 for 340,000 DM. Due to lack of maintenance, the instrument has only been playable to a limited extent since 2002.
  • High altar from the beginning of the 18th century
