history

The appearance of the large single-nave church, which is late Gothic in its core, with a polygonal choir , mansard roof and west tower was changed by renovations in 1983–1988.

The pointed arch portal in the south with a profiled garment and a blind gable with Christ Salvator is crowned by a female figure and a small crucifix . Building inscriptions from 1601 and 1682 indicate past work. The northern pointed arch portal with the small volute gable and the relief of the cross is kept simple. The west tower dates from 1812 and the octagonal tower top from 1851.

Furnishing

The interior of the nave was completely renovated in 1754–1756. There are three galleries on the east side and two on the west side. The wooden mirror vault in the choir is supported by four marbled columns. The font is from the 17th century. The organ was installed by Justinus Gerhard from Lindig in 1767.
