The Protestant village church St. Johannes is in Hemleben , a district of An der Schmücke , in the Kyffhäuserkreis in Thuringia .

history

The nave of the medieval village church was built in 1688. The altar with altar block and altar table, pulpit , baptismal font , lectern and the lecture cross are in the hall of the ship with stalls and gallery . Ceiling paintings decorate the room. In addition to the organ , the church also has a harmonium .

The church includes the cemetery at the church and various tombs.

The steeple of the single-nave choir tower church has a curved dome and a lantern . In the east end of the house is the rectangular choir .
