New Kilian's Church

The Roman Catholic parish church of St. Kilian in Assamstadt in the Main-Tauber district was built in 1971/72.

history

From 1971 to 1972 the Kilianskirche was rebuilt: The baroque figures of the patron saint of the Old Kilianskirche could be taken over into the new church, the two side altars and the high altar were brought to Kupprichhausen , where you can still see them in the church today.

The Kilian's Church belongs to the pastoral care unit Krautheim-Ravenstein-Assamstadt, which is assigned to the deanery Tauberbischofsheim of the Archdiocese of Freiburg .
