The Chapel St. Lüfthildis in Döttingen, a district of the municipality Herresbach in Mayen-Koblenz ( Rheinland-Pfalz ) was built. 1863 It stands in the center of the local situation and is a protected cultural monument .

The St. Lüfthildis and St. Valentin consecrated chapel is a small dry stone hall , which on November 12, 1863 benediziert was.

The previous chapel, which had become dilapidated , was demolished in 1850 when the Chaussee Mayen-Adenau-Blankenheim was being built. The baroque altar from 1697 was transferred to the new chapel.

In the chapel there is the so-called "Döttinger Männchen", a small wooden figure that, according to popular belief , is supposed to help with eye problems.
