The Protestant parish church of St. Leonhard in Schwörsheim , a district of the municipality of Munningen in the Swabian district of Donau-Ries , was built in the 18th century. The church in the walled cemetery on Kirchstrasse is a protected architectural monument .

history

The two eastern window axes still come from the original chapel , which was built at the beginning of the 18th century. In the second half of the 18th century the nave was extended to the west. The sacristy in the east is a modern extension. The church was used as a simultaneous church until 1958 .

architecture

The hall church has a flat ceiling and a gallery in the west . The rectangular portal is in the south. The octagonal roof turret has sound openings with segmental arches . It is crowned by a pointed spire .
