The Sauer organ in St. Mary's Assumption

When the church was rebuilt in 1821, an organ stage was installed, on which a used organ from the Magdalenenhospital in Münster was installed in 1827 . The necessary overhaul of the organ was carried out by the organ builder Johann Kersting from Münster. After the organ failed in 1878, the organ builder Josef Laudenbauch from Dülmen manufactured a new organ with two manuals and 17 sound parts for 3,588 gold marks. In 1917 all organ pipes had to be handed in for armament purposes. In 1925 these could be replaced by new ones. In 1977 the organ failed and should be replaced according to a report by the organ builder Friedrich Fleiter from Münster.
In 1979 a new organ was built by the organ builder Siegfried Sauer from Ottbergen , using some registers and the existing case of the previous organ for 124,000 DM. It has 21 stops on two manual works and a pedal . The game actions are mechanical, the stop actions are electric. The organ has the following disposition :

Figure group Anna Selbdritt

The devotional and grace image of "Mother Anna Selbdritt " carved in oak was probably made in the 15th century and originally belonged to a wayside shrine at Wedemhof before it was transferred to the church. Since the Appel Hülsener church provost was good of the cathedral at Munster, had the "Münster Cathedral," the right to "borrow" this figure. After unsuccessful efforts to repatriate, a true-to-original copy was made in 1982 and placed in the church.

Bells

It is not known when the Assumption of St. Mary got the first bell. During the First World War, all organ pipes and three bells had to be handed in for armament purposes. After four years, from 1922 to 23, two new bells could be purchased. During the Second World War, the largest four of the five existing bells also had to be given up for armament. The fire bell from 1510 was secretly exchanged for a bell from the church in Nienberge in order to save her. In 1950, three new bells cast by Petit & Gebr. Edelbrock in Gescher and the fire bell from Nienberge were installed.
