The Roman Catholic branch church St. Maria vom Berg Kamel is located in Helchenried , a district of Dirlewang in the Unterallgäu district in Bavaria . The church is a listed building. The church is dedicated to the Patronage of Our Lady on Mount Carmel .

The church was built in the second half of the 15th century. The church's roof turret dates from the late 16th century . The church is designed as a single nave nave with a retracted choir closed on three sides . The wooden ceiling in the nave is marked 1948. In the choir there is a ribbed vault on consoles. The fresco of the apostles Paul and Andrew on the south wall of the choir dates from the 17th century. The statue of Our Lady on the altar dates from around 1700. It is flanked by the figures of the hll from around 1500. Agnes , Barbara , Elisabeth and Sebastian .
