St. Maria Magdalena in Niederadenau

The Catholic branch church St. Maria Magdalena in Niederadenau , a district of the local community Dümpelfeld in the district of Ahrweiler ( Rhineland-Palatinate ), was built in 1872. The church at Adenauer Straße 29 is a protected cultural monument .

description

The St. Maria Magdalena consecrated church is a unplastered quarry stone from 1872. It was the site of an older chapel built. The church has two axes and a three-sided end. On the sloping gable roof sits a four-sided ridge turret with a helmet , which is crowned by a cross with a weather vane .

Furnishing

The altar with a two-part architectural structure and curved gable corners was built around 1700.

During the renovation in 1960, two new leaded glass windows were used, showing St. Mary Magdalene and St. Representing Hubertus .
