history
In 1009 Archbishop Heribert donated a predecessor to today's church to Deutz Abbey . The Romanesque church was built in the 12th century. In the liber valoris it was called a parish church around 1300.
After two fires in the church, the old nave was put down and replaced by a hall from 1780 to 1785. The Roman Catholic parish church of Zündorf is today St. Mary's Assumption .
