history

In the Romanesque era, the church was built on two floors in the 12th century; the mundane upper floor above the nave is two meters high and served as a granary for at least a while. The square tower, which is Romanesque to the height of the nave , was raised in 1838; he closes with a brick helmet. An extension on the north and east side of the tower ( sacristy ) dates from 1912. In 1682 a new high altar was erected. The tower and nave have a round arch frieze from 1838.

description

The figure of St. Nikolaus at the high altar from was created around 1460; the side figures, St. Sebastian and a St. Bishop, are carved around 1500. The hl. Mary with the baby Jesus on the left side altar is a work of the late 15th century. A saint Andreas was created between 1480 and 1490. St. Peter and St. Thomas are wooden figures around 1500; the St. Catherine and St. Barbara belong to the beginning of the 17th century.
