St. Pius (Munich)
St. Pius is a Roman Catholic parish church in the Munich district of Berg am Laim , which belongs to the dean's office in Munich-Perlach .
Together with St. Maria Ramersdorf , St. Pius has formed the parish association Maria Ramersdorf – St. Pius.
building
The architect of the church was Richard Berndl . The sacred building stands out due to its unusual, massive tower, which is elongated over the entire width of the nave .
On June 28, 1931 the foundation stone was laid for this church, which was consecrated on April 4, 1932 by Cardinal Michael von Faulhaber . Pope Pius V (1504 to 1572) was raised as patron .
The tower contains four cast steel bells from the Bochum Association in the strike tone sequence g sharp 0 –h 0 –c sharp 1 –dis 1 .

The organ was built in 1979 by WRK-Orgelbau . It has four manuals and 51 stops. The disposition is:
