The Górnik Łęczna Stadium ( Polish Stadium Górnika Łęczna ) is a football stadium in the eastern Polish city of Łęczna , Lublin Voivodeship . The club Górnik Łęczna , which was promoted to the Ekstraklasa , the highest Polish football league, in 2014 , welcomed its opponents to the games here until 2016. For the 2016/17 season , the club moved to the larger and more modern Arena Lublin for financial reasons . It was inaugurated in September 2014 and has 15,500 seats.
The venue offers 7,496 seats in its three tiers, 378 of which are for guest fans. The main and opposite stands (tiers A and C) are covered. The spectators on the northern back gate (tier B) sit in the open air. At the open south end, a sports hall borders the stadium. The seating in the venue consists of yellow and green plastic seats. The guest fans will find their seats at the southern end of stand C. The middle of rank A is occupied by the VIP area and the press stand. An area for wheelchair users was created in the northeast corner of the stadium. There are parking spaces for guest fans next to the sports hall. Parking spaces have been created behind grandstands A and B for local fans. The club building and club parking spaces are located behind the sports hall.
On September 24, 2003, the new floodlight system with an illuminance of 1,410 lux was used for the first time in a friendly against Lewart Lubartów. Since 2005, the natural turf pitch has been underlaid with turf heating . Behind the grandstand in the west is a training field with artificial turf . At the back of Rank C are three tennis courts.
