history

Stadtwerke Halle GmbH was founded on June 25, 1991 and merged on September 21, 2009 with the municipal holding, Verwaltungsgesellschaft für Versorgungs- und Verkehrsbetriebe der Stadt Halle (Saale) mbH (VVV). The new holding company is still called Stadtwerke Halle GmbH. This means that HAVAG, Halle's public transport system, has been integrated into the municipal holding company.
