The Stambolov Crag ( English ; Bulgarian Стамболов връх Stambolow wrach ) is an 820 m high mountain on Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . In the Friesland Ridge of the Tangra Mountains, it rises 1.75 km west of Simeon Peak and 4.4 km south-southeast of Willan Nunatak . Its snow-free western slope is particularly striking. The Huntress Glacier is northwest of it, the Ruen Icefall south.
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named the mountain in 2002 after the Bulgarian politician Stefan Stambolow (1854–1895).
