Career

Pawlusiak took part internationally for the first time in the Four Hills Tournament 1978/79 , but could not achieve any success. In 1979 he was part of the Polish squad for the newly created Ski Jumping World Cup . On December 30, 1979 he jumped his first jumping in this series. In the Four Hills Tournament 1979/80 he was largely unsuccessful. Also in the French Saint-Nizier he won points in both jumping and finished the World Cup season 1979/80 on the 43rd place overall.

At the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid , Pawlusiak reached 40th place on the normal hill and 43rd place on the large hill. After the Winter Games, he ended his active ski jumping career.
