Beskydy tour

The Beskydy Tour is a ski jumping competition series that was held for the first time in the 2017/18 season as part of the Continental Cup . A total of three competitions will be held at three different locations in two countries in the Beskydy area . The overall winner receives a trophy and prize money of 1,500 euros; the second and third place winners will receive 1,000 and 500 euros respectively. The competition series was held in a similar form from 1958 to 1989.

The winner of the first tour in 2017 , which took place from August 18 to 20, 2017, was Klemens Murańka from Poland ahead of the two Slovenes Miran Zupančič and Žiga Jelar .

Venues

The Beskydy Tour (as of 2017) will be held on three different hills in Poland and the Czech Republic :

The competition in Frenštát pod Radhoštěm is held in honor of the Czechoslovak ski jumper and Olympic gold medalist Jiří Raška and is held as the Jiří Raška Memorial Competition .
