Stanislaus von Seherr-Thoß

Stanislaus Ferdinand Sigismund Freiherr von Seherr-Thoss (born February 23, 1827 in Olbersdorf ; † 1907 ) was the Prussian entails owner , administrative lawyer and district administrator of the Pleß district in Silesia (1855–1872).

Life

origin

His parents were Baron Ferdinand von Seherr-Thoß (* January 16, 1787 - May 9, 1860) and his wife Marie Moriz-Eichborn (* March 3, 1799 - September 28, 1870). His father was a master in Olbersdorf and Polish-Neukirch.

family

In 1853 he married Marie Charlotte Albertine Elisabeth Knappe von Knappstädt . His son Günther (1859–1926) was also a Prussian district administrator and district president in Liegnitz (1902–1915).

Career

Baron von Seherr-Thoß was co-owner of the Polish-Neukirch estate and heir in Guttmannsdorf. In 1852 he became government advisor in Frankfurt ad Oder. In 1855 he was appointed interim district administrator of the Pless district and from 1856 to 1872 he was permanently employed. In 1862/63 and 1866/67 he worked as a conservative member of the Prussian House of Representatives .
