Stare ( Ukrainian Старе ; Russian Старое Staroje ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast of Kiev with about 2900 inhabitants (2004).
Stare is located in Boryspil district between the left bank of the Dnepr , which is dammed up to the Kaniv reservoir , and the N 08 highway . The village was founded in 1455 is the administrative center of the eponymous district municipality , nor the village to the Wassylky ( Васильки ⊙ ) is one of 270 inhabitants. The district center of Boryspil is 36 km northwest and the capital Kiev is 65 km northwest of Stare.
