Starlet is a Swedish indie pop band from Malmö .
Band history
The band was founded in the mid-1990s by singer-songwriters Jonas Färm, Henrik Mårtensson, Joakim Ödlund, Anders Baeck and Ludvig Engelbert. Ödlund, Mårtensson and Baeck had played together at Poprace before. The debut album From The One You Left Behind was released in 1997 on Parasol Records . The album Stay On My Side followed in 2000 . Both albums received good reviews. Around this time Ludvig Engelbert left the band. Instead of looking for a new drummer, the band solved the problem by switching from keyboard to drums for Anders Baeck.
In 2002 the band released their third album When Sun Falls On My Feet on Labrador Records . Since then, no other releases by the band have been released. An official dissolution or separation did not take place either.

- Joakim Ödlund is co-founder of the label Summer Sound Recordings , which later Labrador Records emerged
- Joakim Ödlund is also a founding member of the band Acid House Kings and played with Double Dan .
