Stanislaw "Stas" Alexandrovich Pokatilow ( Russian Станислав Александрович Покатилов ; * December 8, 1992 in Oral , Kazakhstan ) is a Kazakh football goalkeeper who has been under contract with FK Qairat Almaty in the Kazakh premier league since 2017 .

Stas Pokatilow was born in Oral on December 8, 1992 , his twin brother Vladimir Pokatilow is also a football player. He began playing football at Aqschajyq Oral , where he played in the youth team from 2009 to 2010 and in the B team in 2011. For the 2012 season he was nominated for the first time for the squad of the professional team in the Premjer League, but could not secure a regular place because Anton Zirin was used as a regular goalkeeper at Aqschajyq. After the loan from Zirin at the end of the season, Pokatilow was able to establish himself as a regular goalkeeper in the next season. He made his first appearance in the 2013 season in a 3-0 home win against Shakhtar Qaraghandy on March 9, 2013.

In the middle of the season he signed a contract with Shakhtar Karagandy on June 17, 2013. Here he had his first game appearance in the 1-1 draw against FK Qairat Almaty on July 13, 2013. After Schakhtar had successfully qualified for the group stage of the 2013/14 Europa League , Pokatilow came on two appearances in the Europa League. The first time was on July 11, 2013 against AZ Alkmaar (0: 1) and again against Maccabi Haifa (1: 2). As the bottom of the group, he retired with Schachtjor from the Europa League. In the 2014 season , he only made six appearances alongside regular goalkeeper Alexander Mokin .

For the 2015 season Pokatilow moved to FK Aqtöbe . Here he received a two-year contract and became the new number one in goal after the departure of the previous keeper Andrei Sidelnikow . He came to 31 missions this season and was only missing in one game. In February 2016 he moved to the Russian first division club FK Rostow . Here, however, he could not establish himself as a goalkeeper in the professional team. He did not play a single game for Rostov in the second half of the Premjer League 2015/16 and was loaned to FK Qairat Almaty on July 1, 2016 .

After he made eight appearances as a loan player, he switched to FK Qairat Almaty for the 2017 season .

National team

Pokatilow has played seven games for the Kazakh U-21 national team so far . He made his debut in the qualifier for the U-21 European Championship 2015 on June 11, 2013 against Belarus; the game ended in a 1-0 away win for Kazakhstan. In the friendly against Russia on March 31, 2015 Pokatilow made his first appearance in the senior national team of Kazakhstan.
