Abat Qairatuly Ajymbetow ( Kazakh Абат Қайратұлы Айымбетов , Russian Абат Кайратович Аимбетов Abat Kairatowitsch Aimbetow * 7. August 1995 in Aral , Kazakhstan ) is a Kazakh football player who since 2020 when FC Kairat in the Kazakh Premjer league under contract.

Career

Ayymbetov moved with his family to Aqtöbe in 2004 and started playing football when he was ten. He began his career at FK Aqtöbe , where he was used in the second team until 2013. Already in the 2012 season he was used in the professional team under coach Vladimir Muchanow . He had his first appearance on September 23, 2012 in the league game against FK Atyrau (2-0). On July 1, 2013, he finally received a professional contract with Aqtöbe and was on the pitch for Aqtöbe a total of ten times in the 2013 season , where he scored his first goal in the Premjer- in the 4-0 home win against Shakhtar Karagandy on October 19, 2013 League scored. In his first professional season he was able to win the Kazakh championship with the club. In the following season he was in a total of 13 games for the club on the field. He also made his international debut in the UEFA Champions League . In the 2019 season , Ajymbetow was one of the team's top performers. He was in 29 league games on the pitch and scored 16 goals. At the end of the season he was recognized by the Kazakh Football Association as the best striker of the Premjer League and in the league's goalscorer table he took third place.

After Aqtöbe finished the season in last place in the table and relegation to the second division was due for the next season , Ajymbetow switched to previous league rivals FK Qairat Almaty on January 27, 2020 . There he initially received a one-year contract with the option to extend it for another year. He made his debut in the Qairat jersey on the first match day of the 2020 season in the game against FK Taras on March 7, 2020, in which he also scored his first goal for the club in the 83rd minute with the winning goal to make it 2-1.

National team

Ayymbetov has played for the Kazakh U-17 national team and the U-21 national team . For the U-21 men, he was on the pitch a total of seven times. Ajymbetov made his first appearance on September 4, 2014 against France in qualifying for the 2015 U-21 European Championship . His only goal he scored in the 2: 1 win against Bosnia and Herzegovina on September 2, 2015. His debut in the senior team , he was in the qualifier for the UEFA EURO 2020 on 8 June 2019 against Belgium . In total, he played six games in qualifying for the European Championship.
