Ghafurschan Sabyrschanuly Süjimbajew ( Kazakh Ғафуржан Сабыржанұлы Сүйімбаев , Russian Гафуржан Сабиржонович Суюмбаев Gafurschan Sabirschonowitsch Sujumbajew * 19th August 1990 in Shymkent , Kazakh SSR ) is a Kazakh football player who since 2016 when FC Kairat in Premjer league under contract.

Ordabassy Shymkent

Süjimbajew started playing football at Ordabassy Shymkent in his hometown. In 2010 he moved up to the professional squad and played his first game for the first team in the 2010 season . On June 22, he made his 90-minute debut in the Kazakh Premjer League 2-0 defeat by Tobyl Qostanai . In total, he played 15 games in his first season.

In July 2013 he was loaned to league rival Ertis Pavlodar for the rest of the season . Just a few days later, he played his first league game for Pavlodar in a 1-0 win against FK Atyrau on July 7th. He was a regular on the team and played a total of 14 league games. On July 18, he also made his debut in the UEFA Europa League . In the encounter with the Bosnian representative NK Široki Brijeg , he came on for Yevgeny Awertschenko in the 76th minute and ten minutes later he scored the winning goal for Pavlodar to make it 3-2.

FK Qairat Almaty

In July 2016, Süjimbajew moved to FK Qairat Almaty , where he received a contract until the end of 2018. He made his competitive debut for Almaty on July 10, 2016 in a 3-2 win over Tobyl Qostanai . With two goals scored in 13 games, he finished the season with Almaty in second place in the table. In the Premjer League 2017 , Süjimbayev was a regular player for Almaty 32 times. In October 2017, the team celebrated winning the Kazakh Football Cup. Almaty was able to prevail in March of that year with a 2-0 win against FK Astana and thus win the Kazakh Supercup title.

National team

Süjimbajew appeared a total of five times for the Kazakh U-21 selection. He made his debut on September 2, 2011 in the qualifier for the U-21 European Championship 2013 against Romania . He played five games in the qualification and was eliminated from the competition with the Kazakh selection.

In 2014 he was on the field for the first time in the jersey of the Kazakh national team. In a friendly against Hungary on June 7, 2014, he was substituted on for Alexander Kislitsyn in the 46th minute . Süjimbajew played six games in qualifying for the 2016 European Championship. With just one win in ten games, Kazakhstan could not qualify for the tournament. In qualifying for the 2018 World Cup, he scored his first goal for Kazakhstan. On November 11, 2016, he scored the only goal for Kazakhstan in the 4-1 defeat against Denmark in the 17th minute.
