Stefan Atzenhofer
Stefan Atzenhofer , pseudonym Tooncafe , (* 1972 in Amberg , Bavaria) is a German comic artist and illustrator. He lives in Berlin.
Life
Stefan Atzenhofer published his first comics in 1991 in U-Comix . 1997–2000 he was co-creator, art director and designer of the children's computer animation series “Stevie Stardust” (Hallmark USA / Super RTL ). Stefan Atzenhofer's best-known comic work is the thesis Blue Moon Of Kentucky , in which the young bass player Pat is fed up with the unsuccessful, wild life in his rock 'n' roll band and has a serious accident on the way to his last appearance. In the seconds between life and death, the soul enters a state of mind in which reality, dream and reality mix in a fascinating way. The comic was published by the Schwarzer Turm publishing house in 2004 and received the ICOM Independent Comic Prize in 2005 .
Toon Cafe
Since 2003 Stefan Atzenhofer has been working under the name Tooncafe together with the illustrator Regina Mischeff for the youth magazines Mädchen , Lissy & Wendy . Among other things, they illustrated the CD-Rom TKKG 14 “Dangerous Holidays” and the comedy figure Little Nils (Sony BMG / Jamba!).
