Stefan Heinloth

Stefan Heinloth (born June 9, 1963 in Cambridge, Massachusetts , USA) is a German business manager and author.

Heinloth started his career as an officer in 1982 and completed a degree in aerospace engineering at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich . The degree to Dipl.-Ing. In 1987 he graduated as a Master of Business Administration at Henley Management College in London in 1994 . After management positions in the German Armed Forces and a project work at the aerospace company DASA - Dornier , Heinloth took over the role of quality officer at the German Society for the Certification of Management Systems - DQS GmbH . In February 1996 he became Managing Director of DQS Inc., the newly founded US subsidiary of DQS GmbH in Chicago. As the successor to Joachim Pärsch, he took over the management of DQS GmbH in Frankfurt am Main in 2000 . As a result of the merger of DQS GmbH with UL MSS, the management system division of the US Underwriters Laboratories Inc., to form the DQS-UL Group, Stefan Heinloth moved to the top of DQS Holding GmbH in 2008. There he is responsible for the Group's strategy and international business development as well as finance and human resources. He left DQS Holding GmbH at the beginning of November 2019 and handed over his position as managing director to Michael Drechsel.

Stefan Heinloth - son of the experimental physicist Klaus Heinloth (1935–2010), former professor at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn - is married, has three children and lives in the Lower Franconian district of Aschaffenburg
