Stefan Marian Hula (born September 12, 1947 in Szczyrk ) is a former Polish Nordic combined athlete .

Career

Hula reached 17th place at the 1972 Winter Olympics in Sapporo , after having finished two years earlier at the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1970 in Štrbské Pleso despite a 13th place after jumping outside the top 20. In the Nordic World Ski Championships 1974 in Sweden's Falun he won the bronze medal behind the two DDR -Athleten Ulrich Wehling and Günter Deckert . Two years later at the 1976 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck , he was 16 in the individual competition.

After the end of his active career in 1978, Hula became a trainer in Szczyrk. He and his wife have a total of four children. His son of the same name has been a ski jumper of the Polish national team since 2003.
