Stefan Jović ( Serbian : Стефан Јовић; born on November 3, 1990 ) is a Serbian professional basketball player who was under contract with Bayern Munich in the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL). At the international level, he represents the Serbian national basketball team . At a height of 1.98 meters, he plays on the assembly position.
Career
Jović played in the youth division of KK Zdravlje Actavis Leskovac before moving to KK Sloga Kraljevo in 2010, where he made his debut in the Serbian first division. After two years he joined the league competitor Radnicki Kragujevac, where he was also in the squad for two years.
In 2014 Jović was signed by KK Red Star Belgrade . He had already taken part in European club competitions with Kragujevac, and with the Red Star he competed in the Serbian League, the Adriatic Basketball League and the EuroLeague . In 2015, 2016 and 2017 he won the Serbian championship and the title in the Adriatic Basketball League with the team, and in the 2015/16 season he was named Player of the Year by the Internet service Eurobasket.com .
In July 2017, FC Bayern Munich signed the Serbian. For the 2019/20 season, Jović moved to BK Chimki in Russia.
