Stefan Ewert Herman Krook (born October 1, 1950 in Gothenburg ) is a former Swedish sailor .

successes

Stefan Krook, who sailed for the Göteborgs Kungliga Segelsällskap , took part in the Soling boat class at the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich . Alongside Bo Knape and Lennart Roslund, he was a crew member of the Swedish boat, skippered by Stig Wennerström . They secured a victory in a total of seven races and came second twice, among other things, so that they finished the regatta taking place in the Schilksee Olympic Center in Kiel with 31.7 total points in second place, behind the Americans led by Harry Melges and in front of the boat from David Miller of Canada received the silver medal. In 1970 Krook had already become world champion in Poole with Wennerström in Soling and secured the bronze medal with him in 1973 in Quiberon . In 1975 he became European champion as a crew member of Wennerström.
