Stefan Melneczuk

Stefan Melneczuk (born October 31, 1970 in Hattingen ) is a German journalist and writer .

Life

Stefan Melneczuk grew up in his native Hattingen and began writing fantastic stories in his youth. After his school education he studied modern history , literature and political science at the Ruhr University in Bochum . He then completed training as an editor at the Westdeutsche Zeitung (WZ) in Wuppertal and Düsseldorf. From 1999 to 2014 he worked for WZ as an editor and was part of the local editorial team in Wuppertal.

Since 1985 he has been writing short stories and novels with a focus on fantasy , often combining the genres of science fiction , fantasy , horror , crime and thriller . In addition to his own books, he regularly publishes articles in magazines and anthologies . Melneczuk is a member of the Federal Association of Young Authors (BVjA) and is committed to promoting reading in schools.

Stefan Melneczuk lives in Hattingen.
