Stefan Peters (born January 12, 1970 in Treuchtlingen ; real name Stefan Pössnicker ) is a German pop singer, composer and music producer.

Life

Peters grew up in Treuchtlingen and received lessons in accordion, drums and trumpet from the age of 7. At the age of 15 he was performing locally as a solo entertainer . After finishing school, he initially trained as a forest manager and then turned back to music. At the age of 18 he appeared in large hotels in Switzerland, Austria and Italy and later he had up to 100 appearances per year at galas, in festival tents and clubs.

In 1988 Peters released his first album entitled Greek Vacation . Sierra Madre followed in 1992 and was awarded a gold record in 1997 . His greatest success as a singer came in 1994 with the song Between Heaven and Hell , which was placed in various charts and for which he was also awarded a gold record.

Peters owns his own recording studio and works as a composer, lyricist and producer. He has produced titles by Roland Kaiser , Andrea Berg , Hansi Hinterseer and Tim Toupet , among others .

For the European Football Championship in 2008, he and Gotthilf Fischer took on the title A Star Who Rises Over Germany , which is an adaptation of the Nik P. hit A Star (... that bears your name) . He is now in public with the " Schlagerpiloten " .
