Stefan Ströbitzer

Stefan Ströbitzer (* 26. February 1966 in St. Poelten ) is an Austrian radio and television journalist and chief editor of the ORF - radio programs .

Life

Ströbitzer the son of long-time chief editor of the Lower Austrian news Hans Ströbitzer , studied in Vienna Law and completed his legal practice-year in circuit court Vienna. He began his journalistic career at Niederösterreichische Nachrichten, where he worked in the regional politics department and in the final editorial department for the St. Pölten regional edition.

From 1994 to 1997 he worked as a freelancer at the ORF regional studio in Vienna , where he was most recently responsible for the broadcast Vienna today as head of duty . On September 2, 2010, General Director Alexander Wrabetz announced that Ströbitzer would succeed Willy Mitsche, who had resigned, as editor-in-chief of the radio broadcasts .

Since 2012 he has headed the ORF program innovation and quality management department . He is also a freelance media coach and lecturer at Danube University Krems .

Ströbitzer is married and has two children.
