Stefan Teufel

Stefan Teufel (* 20th May 1972 in Rottweil am Neckar ) is a German politician of the CDU . He has been a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg since 2006 .

education and profession

After his technical college entrance qualification, Stefan Teufel completed vocational training as an industrial clerk . This was followed by further training as a business economist (GA) at the Chamber of Crafts in Konstanz . He then worked for AOK Baden-Württemberg from 1996 to 2000 . In 2000 he moved to BKK Gesundheit and worked there as a department head in the areas of controlling and corporate development.

Political activity

Stefan Teufel was in the Young Union of the year of its entry 1990-1997 chairman of the local chapter rooms and from 1994 to 2001 county chairman in the district of Rottweil . Since 2001 he has been the local chairman of the mother party in Zimmer and since 2005 also CDU district chairman.

In 1999 he was elected to the district council. There he is mainly represented in the Environment and Transport Committee. On April 12, 2006 he moved to the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg via the direct mandate of the constituency 53 - Rottweil . In the state parliament he is a member of the economic committee and the social committee . He is also the addiction and drug policy spokesman for his group .

He maintains a constituency office together with the member of the European Parliament Andreas Schwab and the CDU member of the German Bundestag and former chairman of the CDU / CSU parliamentary group Volker Kauder in Rottweil.

Other offices

Since 1999 he has also been Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Kreiskliniken GmbH in the Rottweil district . In addition to his partisan work, he is a member of the district committee of the German Red Cross , the board of trustees of the Steinbeis Foundation and various associations.

Family and private

Stefan Teufel is Roman Catholic , married and has three children. He is the nephew of the former Prime Minister of Baden-Württemberg Erwin Teufel .
