The BKK Gesundheit , based in Frankfurt am Main, was a German company health insurance fund . As a carrier of the statutory health insurance , the BKK Gesundheit was a corporation under public law with self-administration.
history
The BKK-Gesundheit was created on January 1st, 2004 from the merger of the company health insurance funds BKK Zollern-Alb and BKK for tax advisory and legal professions. On October 1, 2009, it incorporated the Taunus BKK and on January 1, 2010 the BKK Fahr . With that the seat of the corporation was moved from Balingen to Frankfurt am Main . The company's two head offices were in Frankfurt am Main and Balingen. BKK Gesundheit has been open to the whole of Germany since it was founded. In the area of private supplementary health insurance , Central Krankenversicherung was the exclusive cooperation partner. On January 1, 2012, it merged with the German salaried health insurance (substitute insurance) to form DAK-Gesundheit ; on the same date, the BKK Axel Springer was incorporated. Contributions
Since January 1, 2009, the contribution rates have been standardized. Since February 1, 2010, BKK Gesundheit has been charging an additional contribution of 8.00 euros per month for each individual health insurance company .
