Stefan Tomas
Stefan Tomas (born February 12, 1943 in Leipzig ; actually Stefan Tomas Gruner ) is a German writer .
Life
Stefan Tomas Gruner moved with his family to Munich in 1949 , later the family moved to Bonn . He attended a Catholic boarding school in Euskirchen . In the 1960s he spent three years abroad, where he a. a. worked as a translator and language teacher . After returning to Germany, he carried out various activities in Bonn and Munich. After his marriage, he studied for the teacher and worked for two years as a primary school teacher working. He then started studying psychology , which was supplemented by additional training in therapy . Gruner was a training consultant in companies in the pharmaceutical industry ; since the beginning of the 1990s he has been an independent behavioral trainer in Bielefeld .
Gruner has been publishing literary works under the pseudonym Stefan Tomas since the 1980s . In 1990 he took part in the Ingeborg Bachmann Competition in Klagenfurt . In 1998 he was awarded the Würth Literature Prize.
