Career

Stefan Vogt began his career as an ice hockey player in the youth team of EV Ravensburg before he was active for the juniors of EC Bad Tölz from 2003 to 2005 in the German junior league. At the same time he made his debut in the 2nd Bundesliga for the professional team of EC Bad Tölz in the 2003/04 season . In his rookie year , the winger remained pointless in four games as well as in the relegation round of the following year, in which he was used twice. The left shooter then moved back to the upper league for EV Ravensburg. With this he managed to return to the 2nd Bundesliga in 2007, in which he then played for today's tower stars. In the 2008/09 season he also ran once for the Augsburg Panthers in the German Ice Hockey League .

In October 2010 he received a short-term funding license for the EHC Munich , for which he played two games in the DEL. In the following years Vogt was always part of the Towerstars squad and won the championship of the 2nd Bundesliga with them in 2011 and 2019. He played over 650 competitive games for his hometown club until he suffered a serious injury in a preparatory game for the 2017/18 season: he broke his tibia and fibula, suffered a torn syndesmosis ligament and severe damage to his Achilles heel. After multiple operations, he returned to the ice in February 2019, but ended his career after the 2018/19 season. His jersey number 55 has not been awarded by the Towerstars since then.
