Stefan Waid , formerly usually Stephan Waid, (* probably Walddorf ; † 1504 in Constance ) was a stonemason and master builder at the Constance Minster. From 1487 married to Ursula, b. Böblinger (Beblinger), the daughter of Hans Böblinger the Elder.

In 1485 Waid worked at the Esslinger Katharinenkirche under Matthäus Böblinger and with his brother Lux Böblinger . He also worked on the enlargement of the nave of the St. Ulrichs Church in Stockheim . He was the brother-in-law of Dionysius Böblinger involved in this work. For a long time, Waid was regarded as the sole builder of this church; however, he was only employed by Dionysius Böblinger, whose stonemason's mark was discovered above the door of the old sacrament house. In 1494, at the request of the city , Esslingen sent its master builder Stephan Waid to Reutlingen as an expert . The late Gothic baptismal font in St. Michael's Church in Wangen from 1495 is well known. Waid became foreman of the Constance Minster and died in Constance in 1504.
