Stefanie Grimm (born July 10, 1990 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Stefanie Grimm started playing soccer in Oberseifersdorf in 1994 . At SG Rotation Oberseifersdorf , she played in the youth department before moving to VfB Zittau in 1997 after only three years . Here she played together with the boys in the youth department. In the summer of 2002 she moved to TSV 1861 Spitzkunnersdorf, where she was used in the C-Juniors, B-Juniors and later in the first team. After five years in Spitzkunnersdorf, she moved to Leipzig for Leipzig FC 07 in the summer of 2007 . Here she played with the first team in the Landesliga Sachsen and became champions with her and was promoted to the Regionalliga Nordost. There she played two years for LFC 07 and was able to become champions of the Regionalliga Nordost with the team in the 2009/10 season and could have been promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga with the LFC. However, since the game operation in the 2nd Bundesliga could not be guaranteed, the team was withdrawn. Most of the players changed clubs. So Stefanie Grimm moved to Halle for Hallescher FC in summer 2011 and played again in the Regionalliga Nordost . Here she only stayed half a year and in January 2011 moved to the then second division club VfL Sindelfingen.

In the beginning she not only played for the first team in the 2nd Bundesliga , she also played in the third-highest division in women's football Regionalliga Süd with the second team. She made her debut game in the 2nd Bundesliga on March 20, 2011 in the away game against FV Löchgau , when she came on for Maximiliane Rall in the 57th minute . She scored her first goal in the 2nd Bundesliga on the last match day of the 2011/12 season when she scored the 2-1 lead against SC Sand in the 70th minute of the away game . At the end of the 2011/12 season , she and her team were champions of the Second League South and were promoted to the Bundesliga .

There she made her debut on September 9, 2012 in the away game against FSV Gütersloh 2009 when she was in the starting line-up. After 111 competitive games, in the league and the DFB Cup, for VfL Sindelfingen , Grimm ended her playing career in May 2017.
