Stefanie Kürpick

Stefanie Kürpick (born December 22, 1977 ) is a former German basketball player .

career

Kürpicks basketball career began as a teenager in Berlin-Hermsdorf , later she played in Burgwedel and Hanover . The 1.86 meter indoor player was represented in the 1st women's basketball league with ODB Recklinghausen from the 1999/2000 season. Her next station was second division BG Dorsten . With NB Oberhausen she was promoted to the Bundesliga in 2002, and in the 2003/03 season she was also on the field for the club in the top German division.

In the 2006/07 season she was promoted to the first division with the second division club Herner TC . Kürpick moved to ASC 09 Dortmund (Regionalliga), from 2008 she joined BG Dorsten in the Regionalliga and after promotion to the second division. From the beginning of March 2011 until the end of the 2010/11 season, she was the player-coach of BG Dorsten together with Birthe Kemper . Kürpick, who studied law at the Ruhr University in Bochum  , worked as a lawyer. She later earned a second degree in international law from the University of Miami in the United States .

In the run-up to the 2015/16 season, she took up the position of coach for the Oberliga women of the Ruhrpott Baskets Herne.
